Lenovo ThinkPad X250

Previously released as the ThinkPad X240, the updated version of this laptop, the ThinkPad X250, has now been launched under the Lenovo range. Same design, but offers an Intel 5th Generation Core processor that promises even longer lasting battery life. We also love the comfortable keyboard with elongated palm rest featured by Lenovo X250.  However it is the wide viewing angles from the picture perfect IPS display that really showcase this design.  Perfect for enhancing your visual pleasure, and now you can take this machine wherever you gaming fun takes you, and feel the power to play or stay however you wish.

One of the longest lasting laptops that you can find, the ThinkPad X250 runs from a nominal 3 cell battery, with an extended 6-cell battery which provides an astounding 20 hours of battery time. Even without the extended battery pack, the smaller 3-cell battery yields a still impressive 7 and a half hours of game time.  If you are focused on solid gaming fun and entertainment, then this little beauty is made for you!

And that is the true benefit of the Lenovo ThinkPad range of impressive laptops, they offer outstanding technology, and an extremely versatile design, such that I would have no hesitation in using this machine for mid range gaming, all round multi media applications, or for high end data processing such as music or video editing, number crunching for large spreadsheets, or really whatever you can throw at it, the Lenovo ThinkPad X250 is just made to handle it.

Features of the Lenovo ThinkPad X250

The Lenovo ThinkPad X250 is powered by the impressive Intel i5 Core i5 which zips along at 2.3 GHz, so you don’t have to feel restrained by lack of horsepower.  This machine is easily able to process high resolution images, so is well suited to handle your biggest gaming needs.  In addition to the processing power is the graphics co-processor which is provided by Intel HD Graphics 5500, which fits seamlessly together in a very well designed unit.  With 4 GB RAM and 500 GB HDD you will have no problems storing as much data as you need.

Interestingly, this machine comes pre-loaded with Windows 7 Operating System rather than the latest Windows 8, so if you have a preference for the older OS, then you will be well catered for.  But of course, this software load will make you eligible for free upgrade to Windows 10, so if you want to keep up with the latest and greatest software configuration, you can choose to do that also!

Summary of the Lenovo ThinkPad X250

As the battle for supremacy in the high end laptop and notebook market intensifies, the leading players are increasingly focusing their products in the ultrabook range.  Lenovo is certainly no exception, and has an impressive portfolio of offerings for you to choose. The Chinese company has been striving to dish out newer and more sophisticated products in this very popular Thinkpad range and we recommend the Lenovo ThinkPad X250 for all your gaming requirements, or your entertainment needs.  You can take this fantastic machine to work, school, college or university, and it will not let you down.  You will be the envy of all your friends, especially when they see the power hidden underneath the lid of this little gem!
