The Incredible Dell Inspiron 13 7000 Series

Are you looking for a small convertible laptop to suit your mobile lifestyle? The Dell Inspiron 13 7000 Series may just be what you want.  The 13 inch touch screen it is a great choice for people on the go. If you are interested in what this fantastic laptop from Dell has to offer, then let’s look a bit closer at the specification of this little beauty.

So what does the Dell Inspiron 13 7000 have to offer?

Dell Inspiron 13 7000 series reviewThe Dell Inspiron 13 7000 Series 13 Inch Convertible Touchscreen Laptop is known as a “two-in-one” laptop computer, because you can fold it flat like a tablet, or close the lid like a normal laptop.  This machine comes with Intel Core i7 5500 Processor, 8GB DDR3 memory and 500GB Hard disc drive.  It combines seamlessly with a 1920 x 1080 HD display screen, as well as fully backlit keyboard.  The 13 inch FHD touchscreen display with 1920 x 1080 pixels and stunning LED Backlit screen with a stunning view angle which is wide enough to use this machine for demonstrations to the whole meeting room or classroom.  The power is provided by a 5th Gen Intel i75500 core Processor with 4M Cache, and that is truly impressive.  Coupled with 8GB Single Channel DDR3L 1600MHz  as well as 500GB 5400 rpm SATA Hybrid Hard Drive and you will be hard pressed to hit the red line on this powerful beast.

It comes pre loaded with the Windows 8.1 Operating System, which is a must with the latest touch screen capability.  And don’t forget the portability – Dell has done a very nice job with the Dell Inspiron 13 7000 Series model and has made it a great companion for those on the go. By utilizing the smaller 13.3 inch LED touch-screen they were able to keep this device a very light 3.68 pounds and to go along with the light weight also a very slim 0.75 inches.  If you haven’t tried out the latest touchscreen technology, you should.  If you already have, you will love this high speed performance machine!

Just because it has a small design doesn’t mean that Dell was able to pack in some goodies as well. Starting with performance the Intel Core i7-5500U processor offers plenty while the turbo boost technology allows it to reach speeds of 3.0 Ghz. To back up this processor Dell has also put in 4 GB of memory which should allow users to easily multi-task without lacking any performance.

Downsides of the Dell Inspiron 13 7000

Like many small and portable device storage capacity is limited – full sized laptops can provide up to 1 TB of storage, but the Dell Inspiron 13 7000 Series is limited to a smaller 500 GB hard drive. Well that is always enough for me, but if you need a lot of data, you could always attach an off-board storage device.
One of the ways Dell has been able to keep this model so light and slim is by removing the big and bulky optical drive. For those that have moved on from physical media this is no big deal but for others this may be an issue.

Summary of the Dell Inspiron 13 7000

You will love your new PC for years to come. That’s why Inspiron laptops are tested for reliability not just in the places where you expect it, but for the great outdoors as well. The Inspiron 13 keeps up with your needs with long battery life and energy efficiency to keep you going for longer. Switch between laptop, tablet, tent or stand modes depending on work or play – suit yourself or your mood at any time. A spacious precision touchpad keeps you productive at the speed of thought.  Precise pointing and gesture recognition provide a responsiveness that is sure to impress.  No excuses now!
